FanGirl
I'm not gonna lie, I've been waiting for this split. Especially after the Golden Globes last year when she bascially confessed her deep love for Leo. Haha, okay well I mean divorce sucks but I want these two together! LOOK AT THEM! Theyre the perfect old school Hollywood couple. They're bot so talented and GORGEOUS. They're both my favorite actor and actress. I mean, its doubtful they will but wouldnt it be great? The Oscar Curse lives on...Watch out Sandra Bullock!

I Can't Win
"you know that feeling where you need somebody so badly that it just aches and the only way to cure it is by being in the presence of that same somebody except being in their presence makes you ache, too and in the end it just feels like sometimes you just can’t win?
tonight, i feel just like that. i can’t win."
tonight, i feel just like that. i can’t win."
Oh, Friend.
"Are you upset little friend? Have you been lying awake worrying? Well, don’t worry…I’m here. The flood waters will recede, the famine will end, the sun will shine tomorrow, and I will always be here to take care of you.”

Saddest Picture I've Ever Seen
This is a picture (apparently) of John Lennon signing the document that officially ended The Beatles.

Before Sunrise
Jesse: You know what's the worst thing about somebody breaking up with you? It's when you remember how little you thought about the people you broke up with and you realize that is how little they're thinking of you. You know, you'd like to think you're both in all this pain but they're just like "Hey, I'm glad you're gone".
Jesse: Alright, alright. Think of it like this: jump ahead, ten, twenty years, okay, and you're married. Only your marriage doesn't have that same energy that it used to have, y'know. You start to blame your husband. You start to think about all those guys you've met in your life and what might have happened if you'd picked up with one of them, right? Well, I'm one of those guys. That's me y'know, so think of this as time travel, from then, to now, to find out what you're missing out on. See, what this really could be is a gigantic favor to both you and your future husband to find out that you're not missing out on anything. I'm just as big a loser as he is, totally unmotivated, totally boring, and, uh, you made the right choice, and you're really happy.
Jesse: I kind of see this all love as this, escape for two people who don't know how to be alone. People always talk about how love is this totally unselfish, giving thing, but if you think about it, there's nothing more selfish.
Celine: I always feel this pressure of being a strong and independent icon of womanhood, and without making it look my whole life is revolving around some guy. But loving someone, and being loved means so much to me. We always make fun of it and stuff. But isn't everything we do in life a way to be loved a little more?
Celine: When you talked earlier about after a few years how a couple would begin to hate each other by anticipating their reactions or getting tired of their mannerisms-I think it would be the opposite for me. I think I can really fall in love when I know everything about someone-the way he's going to part his hair, which shirt he's going to wear that day, knowing the exact story he'd tell in a given situation. I'm sure that's when I know I'm really in love.

The End of An Era.
You're done with her. You didn't run to me for some "satisfaction." But from what I gather, it's done. And we're done. It's strange. It's different this time. I have a desire to reach out - to see, perhaps. But what's the point? You never appreciated me. I, well, was crazy with you so I'm not surprised but I cared. I wish that would have been enough for the rest to make sense. It wasn't. We're not the same people anymore- I have to tell myself that everyday. Your laugh, your eyes, and your smile are the same. But it's a lie. The boy I feel in love with grew up to be a man I don't even know anymore. How'd this happen? Life pulled a part - we destroyed each other. We can't even be friends. It makes me ache. I want to so badly to make things okay, but they will never be. We'll cycle the toxic familiarity and burn us deeper. First loves, well - they really are bitches.
I need to feel alive again. I need to feel the exhilaration of a new adventure. I'm alone but not lonely. I swear. But - everyday that passes, I'm afraid I'll never feel those butterflies again. I had one and true chance and it ran away. What if we really do only get one great love in life? I was naive to ignite it so quickly. I'm hoping - praying to be lucky with a second great love. I'll treat it better, do it right this time. I promise.

Rudness.
I'm not a particularly nice person to begin with, I've had my moments where I'm a straight up bitch and some people think I go to far. Maybe I do. I really don't regret anything I've ever said, if I felt that at that moment- then it's valid (in my mind at least). Anyways, what I don't fantom is people, who barely know me, are like they're the shit and better than me? ESPECIALLY, especially when I've never been my "normal" self and said the bitchy comments towards them. I'm nice to you because I don't know you well enough to pass judgement and because my friend happens to like you - shouldn't that go both way? I'm extremely annoyed and over being nice to these "people."
I, also, think the part that annoys me as well is that I expect, or hope, my friends would show the same courtesy to people I befriend or grow close to, for the benefit of me. However, this does not happen. And if anyone I knew was rude to my friends, shit would be said.
I have to stop thinking that generosity, kindness, and fairness is a two way street. I'm constantly let down.

Being Smarter.
How to be Smarter: If you are like me, you live with your planner attached to your hip. I have stopped putting just things I have to do for other people, i.e. work projects, homework, etc., and added things that I should be doing for me. Every day I have “drink five glasses of water” as a task to-do in my planner, along with “apply sunscreen,” and “20 minutes of walking” (what can I say, I am not a runner). Since I am way too much of a perfectionist to delete tasks until they are done, these things always get done without much thinking on my part–I treat it as just another task on the to-do list.
People Need TO LET GO.
“Sometimes being a friend means mastering the art of timing. There is a time for silence. A time to let go and allow people to hurl themselves into their own destiny. And a time to prepare to pick up the pieces when it’s all over”
